About Me

Dr. Paul Fjeldsted heads the Michels' Family office on University Avenue in La Mesa. He is also a graduate of the University Of Southern California Dental School and shares with the rest of the Michels team a passion to provide his patients with the highest quality of dentistry in a comfortable and family orientated environment.

His training in biomimetic dentistry allows him to use the latest technology to implement conservative and preventative procedures. His goal is to establish a relationship of trust with all his patients by understanding their individual needs and expectations.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He's well versed in the plethora of services offered by Michels, from dental bridges to porcelain veneers to dental crowns.

Although he was raised in the San Francisco bay area, Dr. Fjeldsted is really a Southern Californian at heart. An avid surfer, he enjoys catching waves any chance he gets. Dr. Fjeldsted also enjoys spending time with his family, including his two young children. He also enjoys playing the guitar, snowboarding, biking, and cheering on USC football.

Dr. Fjeldsted is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the San Diego Dental Society.
